Once a quarter, LoganSquarist hosts community service events geared toward giving people the opportunity to volunteer and help on a local level. Last Wednesday, volunteers gathered together to help more than a dozen kids decorate ornaments and listen to holiday-themed stories at the Logan Square Boys and Girls Club.
‘Tis the season at Park & Field’s Holiday Event, starting Nov. 25 and going through all of December. For a cold and breezy weekend, the event is off to a huge start, with a packed house of families building DIY gingerbread houses by the fireplace and sipping complimentary hot cocoa and coffee. There’s also a “Bottomless Boozy Brunch” served in the main room, great for a drink and stop at the buffet.
