More than 30 Logan Square neighbors came out to Ciao Napoli Pizzeria (@CiaoNapoliPizza, 2607 North Milwaukee Ave.) for the second Logan Square Mix & Mingle TweetUp. The event is an opportunity for Logan Square residents and enthusiasts to get together, mingle and network at a local establishment.
The hosts at Ciao supplied a delicious assortment of true Naples cuisine including Arancini (fried risotto balls with gorgonzola dolce and bagna cauda), antipasta of meats and cheeses, Neapolitan pizza from their wood burning oven and pastas—including a gluten-free penne with housemade boscaiola sauce. For dessert: homemade donuts! All of the tasty bites were a bit hit.

Ciao opened last April and focuses their menu around the southern city of Naples. Every Sunday, Ciao hosts Supper Sunday—a seasonal four-course meal served family style. The reservation-only event is ideal for parties of four or more looking to have a traditional Italian meal together. Sunday Supper is available every Sunday from noon-8 pm; the menu changes weekly. Ciao also is now serving gluten-free pasta.
