More than 30 Logan Square neighbors came out to Ciao Napoli Pizzeria (@CiaoNapoliPizza, 2607 North Milwaukee Ave.) for the second Logan Square Mix & Mingle TweetUp. The event is an opportunity for Logan Square residents and enthusiasts to get together, mingle and network at a local establishment.
The hosts at Ciao supplied a delicious assortment of true Naples cuisine including Arancini (fried risotto balls with gorgonzola dolce and bagna cauda), antipasta of meats and cheeses, Neapolitan pizza from their wood burning oven and pastas—including a gluten-free penne with housemade boscaiola sauce. For dessert: homemade donuts! All of the tasty bites were a bit hit.
Neighbors also got an opportunity to commit to a cause in 2012 with “I will ___ in 2012” button, courtesy of Busy Beaver Buttons (@BusyBeaver, 3279 W. Armitage).
