How long have you lived in Logan Square?

Almost 7 years.

Favorite neighborhood hangouts?

I’m a sucker for a Nutella Shake and B.L.A.S.T sandwich at Brown Sack, a game of darts at Small Bar-LS, and an eavesdropping session over a Hail Mary at New Wave.

If you could have only one food to eat for the rest of your life, which food would you choose?

I got to pick my “favorite food” for my birthday one year, and chose cheese pizza and crab rangoon. Yes, together, but no—the rangoon wasn’t the topping. Although that is genius! Also, this just in, I’m a child.

If you could be any superhero, which one would you be and why?

Lisa Simpson. Granted she isn’t deemed a classic superherowho can walk through walls, but Lisa has been busting through glass ceiling since 1987. She might have pearls on her neck, but she has fire in her belly. I can totally feel Lisa when she says, ” … beneath my goody two-shoes lie some very dark socks.”

If you had to be stranded on an island with someone, who would you choose?

My pug, Beatrice—although she’d be really unhelpful, and pretty snorty.

Have you read any books, seen any movies or listened to any music recently that you would like to recommend?

I recently saw Au Revoir Simone at Lincoln Hall with a gal pal. We went to get our sway on, but I was blown away at how awesome and dancey their new album, “Move in Spectrums” is! Also Wave Machines is my new go-to sleepy Saturday morning music.
