After one of the longest winters Logan Square has seen in decades, color is starting to make its way back into sight. Who isn’t sick of being surrounded by dead grass and gray trees? This week we caught a small glimpse of what Spring may have in store for Logan. It felt like what May 7 should feel like. A warm sun with a cool breeze, green trees and saturated plants. Hopefully we have plenty more days like these to look forward to in order to make up for the dreadful cold season we’ve endured.
As a volunteer-run organization committed to bringing Logan Square together and sharing important stories about the neighborhood, LoganSquarist depends on your support.
