Pizza and beer are a classic combination, and now one of Logan Square’s most popular pizza joints is able to serve you both. The Dante’s Pizzeria location on Milwaukee Avenue (2825 N. Milwaukee Ave.) recently got their liquor license and are hosting a party this Wednesday, March 1, to celebrate. Patrons will now be able to finish off a slice of the Inferno or Beatrice pizza with some refreshing Old Style draft.

Along with $3 Old Style drafts this Wednesday, they will have Chicago-based Half Acre’s Daisy Cutter, Brooklyn Brewery Lager and Sorachi Ace. According to co-owner and bartender, Tim Murphy, they are going to start off with a few beers and grow from there. They will be working with local breweries for a rotating featured beer.
Murphy is hoping that the successful restaurant will also serve as a place for locals to get together to have a couple of beers and hang out.
The owners are not pursuing a liquor license for Dante’s other location (3028 W. Armitage Ave.), due to the size of the business. It serves primarily as a place to get pies to go or for delivery. The Milwaukee Avenue location will no longer be BYOB.
I love Dante’s Pizza! Good to see they have expanded. I would point out one thing. The address should read 2825 North Milwaukee. Milwaukee has a North designation. Not West.
Paul,
Thank you for pointing this out! How embarrassing that it slipped by me. I’ve fixed it.
Thanks for being an avid reader!
