Summer has finally arrived in Chicago and with it, everyone’s favorite time of the year: patio season. And who better to enjoy all that sunshine and rosé with than your favorite four-legged friend? Whether you want to revisit an oldie but goodie or try something new, there are plenty of places in Logan Square to take (read: show off) your adorable pup.
Colectivo Coffee (2261 N. Milwaukee Ave.)
While this Milwaukee transplant is one of the neighborhood’s newest coffee shops it’s quickly become a popular spot with locals. Bring your pup to Colectivo the next time you need your caffeine fix and enjoy that coffee (and one of their delicious pastries) on their colorful patio.
The Harding Tavern (2732 N. Milwaukee Ave.)
Every neighborhood needs a local pub—a place where it’s easy to wallow away the hours, where the food is good, the drinks are solid and the people are friendly. So it’s no wonder that The Harding Tavern’s patio has become a popular go-to spot for both locals and their dogs. Pop by to enjoy one of their beer of the month specials or the mouthwatering THT burger while your pup soaks up all the people and puppy watching Milwaukee Avenue has to offer.
Innjoy Logan Square (2200 N. Milwaukee Ave.)
Happy hour gets even happier when you can bring your dog along! Innjoy Logan Square has no shortage of daily specials and what better way to savor these rare summer nights than on a patio with your favorite canine companion? Even dogs love Taco Tuesdays.
Langhe Market (1904 N. Western Ave.)
Formerly known as Animale, Langhe Market now leans more towards casual Italian dining and offers an Italian deli that’s perfect for grab-and-go items. Make a date with your pup and try a few of their new menu items on their dog-friendly patio. Or if you feel like sticking to an old favorite, their famous plin is also available.
Mi Tocaya Antojería (2800 N. Logan Blvd.)
In a city where Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen, Mi Tocaya Antojería has quickly gained acclaim on both the local and national stages. And they’ve just added another feather to their cap: their fearless leader, Chef Diana Dàvila, was recently named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs 2018. And there’s no better way to sample her bright, bold dishes than on their patio overlooking the bustling boulevard with your dog.
The Moonlighter (3204 W. Armitage Ave.)
Sometimes, size does matter—especially when everyone in the neighborhood is clamoring for any table at pretty much any patio. Luckily, The Moonlighter does not disappoint. Scofflaw Group’s latest addition to Armitage Avenue stayed true to it’s low-key, “it’s like going to your friend’s house for a barbecue” vibe so your favorite doggo is free to enjoy that sunshine while you enjoy one of The Moonlighter’s excellent burgers.
Park and Field (3509 W. Fullerton Ave.)
If Fido is into some bocce ball and bonfire pits, take a stroll on over to Park and Field. This vintage, sports club-themed spot is a Logan Square favorite during the summertime and with its sprawling dog-friendly patio, frosé, and DIY s’mores, it’s easy to see why.

Longman & Eagle (2657 N. Kedzie Ave.)
And let’s not forget Longman & Eagle, which now has its patio open for summer. Dogs can hang out in the OSB and outside at the tables with the humans so they feel like part of the party!
