Neighbors filled a local church Dec. 15 for the eigth annual UMatter Chicago winter initiative by One Heart One Soul to serve homeless youth and those seeking emergency shelter.
Volunteers gathered at New Life Community Church Logan Square (1847 N. Humboldt Blvd.) and sorting donations, filled Wintrust tote bags with winter items/hygiene products and added encouraging words into each of the 400 bags.
