What’s your role with LoganSquarist?
I’m a videographer.
What have you been working on recently?
I’ve been working on a complilation of LoganSquarist’s neighborhood meetups that can be used as a promotional tool for the organization.
Where are you from originally?
Olean, New York, but I moved to Cleveland, Ohio in sixth grade and generally refer to that as my hometown.
When did you join?
September 2017.
Do you work with video professionally?
I do some occasional video related work as a hobby.
What made you interested in volunteering for LoganSquarist?
I wanted a chance to get to know the neighborhood a little better, develop my skills as a videographer and help this organization. I admired the work they do long before I joined.
What is your favorite LoganSquarist project you worked on?
Going around to the businesses that participated in Holidays on the Square and try to capture the hustle and bustle of the shopping season on camera was my favorite
What is your favorite restaurant or hang out in Logan Square?
Once upon a time it was Parts and Labor. Now that they’ve closed, I find myself at Gorilla Sushi.
What’s your favorite thing to do in the neighborhood?
I like biking around the boulevard or hanging out at the park on the square.
What has been the best part about joining the team?
Meeting a lot of friendly folks and experiencing local businesses I otherwise might have missed is one of the best parts about being in LSQ.
How has it contributed to your professional career ?
