Feb. 6: Logan Square Improv show (2908 N. Wisner Ave.)
Join the folks at Logan Square Improv, a new non-profit theater (technically in Avondale) with a focus on improvisational comedy. The monthly comedy variety show, called “Best Damn Show. Feb. 8: Smalls to the Walls Opening Reception @ Galerie F (2415 N. Milwaukee Ave.)
Galerie F is kicking off 2019 with a stellar group show featuring 2D and 3D small, accessible original works. They’ve assembled a killer line up of artists who will create artwork in an 8″x10″ format, all priced at $250.00 or less. This opening reception is from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Hope For The Day’s pioneering program focuses on reducing reduce suicide rates by disrupting, and eliminating the highest risk factors for reaching a stage of mental health crisis. PEERvention Workshop Class is designed to educate you on the obstacles, tools and strategies to enable proactive and effective mental health care as individuals and communities. This is a free presentation. Make sure to register to attend though walk-ins are welcome.
