Jessica Mayle, born and raised in Texas, studied journalism at Northwestern University (Go Cats!), and bounced around to Milwaukee, Dallas, and a rural village in The Gambia, West Africa, before finally making it back to Chicago in 2012. She recently bought her first house in Logan Square, and it was a lot of work, so she plans on sticking around for awhile. She loves cookies, robots, and The Container Store.
