Melissa Genova Hill learns her way around Chicago by running through it and getting completely lost. When she is not asking for directions, she is probably singing karaoke at Alice's, playing guitar with her band, The Guillotines, watching the weirdest horror films known to exist, and playing with her many cats. If those stalking attempts fail, she is hanging out in the Egypt exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago, which she considers her favorite place in the city next to home in Logan Square.
